State Agency and Higher Education Awards
TASSCC grants two Excellence Awards each year - one to a state agency and one to an institution of higher education.
The TASSCC Excellence Awards recognize organizations that have implemented a technical application significantly improving internal operations, customer services, or communications. Special consideration is given to projects that use leading edge technology or that use existing technology in an innovative manner. Nominated projects must be implemented and delivering services described.
Selection Criteria
- Significantly improved services or operations
- Innovative application of technology
- Collaboration with other agencies/academic institutions
- Quality improvement and/or cost savings
Submission Process
Nominees are accepted between April - June each year. The TASSCC Board selects the award winners in the June time frame and presents the awards at its annual conference in August. The TASSCC board is currenty accepting award nominations that will be presented during the 2010 Annual Conference on Tuesday, August 3 in Dallas, Texas.
