- TASSCC honored Bowden Hight, CIO for Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) with the TASSCC President's Award for IT Excellence which was presented at the 2011 Annual Conference, August 7-11. In Remembrance
Gary Gumbert passed away on February 19, 2012. Gary had many years of dedicated service in the Army Air Corp and to the State of Texas. In honor of Mr. Gumbert's service to the State of Texas, and TASSCC, a donation has been made in his honor to the Wounded Warrier Project. A link to the remembrance of Mr. Gumbert may be found here. The TASSCC TEC Conference is a one-day event presented held in early spring that covers specific topics of interest.
