Will recipients be asked to provide a video?

Preparing Your Submission
What makes a strong nomination?
Practical guidance based on the award criteria, rather than additional eligibility requirements.
- Be specific. Describe the nominee's or project's accomplishments.
- Explain the impact. Show the benefit to the organization, public service, students, residents, staff, or State of Texas, as applicable.
- Match the award. For individual awards, provide concrete examples of leadership, innovation, mentoring, collaboration, change management, or organizational improvement that match the selected award.
- Focus your project submission. Select the single category that best represents the project's strongest area of excellence and explain the results within it.
- Use measurable outcomes. Include time saved, improved service, reduced risk, increased access, cost avoidance, adoption, performance improvements, or other documented results where available.
